Connect a charger (OCPP)

For operators and installers: point an AC/DC charger to Mega Voltz over OCPP WebSocket.

Educational content. Your contract and platform configuration override any fictional examples.

Endpoint for this environment

OCPP WebSocket base for the current host. In the panel, the charger screen builds the full URL with the chargePointId.

wss://stream.megavoltz.com.br/ocpp/{chargePointId}

What you configure on the device

The charger opens a secure WebSocket (wss) to the Mega Voltz CSMS. In /cpo, after you register the charge point, the charger screen shows the full environment URL (host + /ocpp/{chargePointId}).

Short steps

  1. Finish CPO onboarding and open /cpo.
  2. Register the station, charge point (unique ID) and connectors.
  3. Copy the OCPP URL and chargePointId from the charger detail page.
  4. In firmware (local Web UI or vendor app), paste URL, Identity and secret (if any).
  5. Reboot and confirm Online in the panel.

Online and status

Online means the WebSocket is up. Common connector states: Available, Preparing, Charging, Finishing, Faulted. Without Online, drivers cannot start on that point.

AC and DC

Works for AC wallboxes and DC fast chargers (e.g. CCS2) when firmware speaks OCPP 1.6J or 2.0.1 JSON. On multiport DC, power balancing is done in hardware.
